Radish Seeds - Korean - Alpine Gold - Hybrid.Raphanus sativus. Non GMO. 60 days to maturity. Open pollinated. Cool season annual. Developed for spring planting and can be planted in late summer-early fall, this Korean radish has a green shoulder, delicious, firm white flesh, and smooth skin. The radish grows 9-11" long and weighs 3-4 lbs. It has resistance to Fusarium Wilt, root cracking, is slow to bolt, and has late pithiness. Alpine is a good substitute for Super Luck and is available in untreated seed. Prepare fertile, well-drained soil. Sow seeds in spring or early fall in a warm, sunny location. Keep soil moist. Fertilize as needed. Use in soup, salad, tsukemono (pickled). Excellent for kimchee. Approximately 2200 seeds per ounce.
